info@vwdrive.htm308.htm-server.deThe triple-phase type 2 plug has become the standard at charging stations for European and American vehicles. This enables you to charge your electric vehicle overnight at home or for several hours during the day in a company car park.
Since 2016, all new charging stations must be equipped with CCS plugs. CCS stands for Combined Charging System and combines the normal charging plug with a quick charging plug. This allows you, for example, to charge your car during a coffee break at a motorway service station.
Most e-vehicles manufactured in Asia use a different charging standard called CHAdeMO and require an adapter for the CCS plug.
